Themed ‘Let’s Party and Save Lives,’ INTI Carnival 2008 was open to the public.
It kicked off with a charity run to raise funds for the Malaysian Paediatric Association – Children’s Cancer Fund.
Over 1,000 participants ranging from toddlers to senior citizens took part in the run.
A total of RM11,609 was raised from the run and presented to the fund.

The day’s event continued with games and activities on campus grounds and in the swimming pool.
Teams from INTI-UC, INTI College Subang Jaya, INTI International College Penang, Metropolitan College, Genting INTI International College and PJ College of Art & Design competed in games like sticky fly wall, sumo wrestling, elastarun horizontal bungee, gladiator, rodeo bull ride, frisbee and tug-of-war.
Meanwhile, the IUC College Halls of Residence Board organised a street party for the sixth straight year.
The festivities kicked off with a cultural parade that showcased students in traditional attire from Malaysia, South Korea, Brunei, Nigeria, China, Indonesia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Mongolia.
Money generated from sales at the various stalls set up were channelled to residents of the Bethany Home in Perak.
